A Nutella Food Truck Is Coming to Melbourne

Originally published on Broadsheet

A giant silver toaster – with a crisp, golden slice of bread protruding from it – will be cruising down the Hume in a couple of weeks. Inside will be a whole lot of Nutella.

The food truck has been designed for an East Coast road trip from New South Wales to Victoria. It will serve a menu of Nutella-inspired dishes for free from the giant toaster, with options including a zesty mandarin dipped in Nutella and studded with roasted hazelnuts, and a crepe stack served with stewed berries, toasted coconut, bacon and drizzled Nutella.

The Nutella food truck will start its journey on Monday June 15 in Sydney. After its New South Wales stint, it will cross the Victorian border and cruise through Bendigo (on June 23) and Ballarat (on June 24). It will then travel through Melbourne (from June 25 to 27), before making its way to its final destination, Geelong (June 28).

Menu items are limited to one per person on a first come, first served basis.
