DONNA Hay has a celebrity fan in Cameron Diaz, who recently referred to her as one of her “food inspirations.”
“We were so excited when that happened, I couldn’t believe it” Hay told Confidential.
“It’s always so amazing to be reminded that the content we create in our little food studio in Surry Hills resonates with the people all over the world.”
Diaz spent time in Australia last year with her husband Benji Madden.
Hay’s new show Basics To Brilliance starts on the Lifestyle Food channel on Foxtel tonight at 8.30pm.
The show promises to delve into her life out of the kitchen, something Hay hasn’t done before.
“It was definitely a new experience for me,” she said.
“It always amazes me that people are so interested in my life outside the kitchen.
“For me, it’s really not that interesting.”
